E’ finalmente arrivata la nuova action cam SJ5000 plus o SJ5000+,
mini videocamera FullHD economica e subacquea, evoluzione della fortunata SJ4000,
con nuove caratteristiche hardware tra cui un nuovo sensore di immagine Panasonic a 16Mpx e un nuovo processore Ambarella A7LS75,
lo stesso montato sulle GoPro Hero 3+ Black.

Queste caratteristiche non possono che fare contenti gli utenti che ora si trovano con la possibilità di scattare foto a 16mpx e girare video a 1080p 60/30fps e 720p 120/60/30fps,
rendendo questa cam ottima anche per i rallentamenti in slowmotion.
La SJCAM SJ5000+ è una action cam FullHD economica e subacqua che merita la nostra attenzione grazie al nuovo processore di immagine CMOS Panasonic MN34120PA da 16 megapixel,
che migliora notevolmente la qualità delle registrazioni rispetto alla SJ4000, con apertura f / 2.8 che ci permetterà di catturare video Full HD a 60 fps,
HD 720p a 120 fps e 480p a 240 fps , inoltre è possibile scattare foto fino a 4608 x 3456 pixel ovvero appunto 16mpx.
La fotocamera include un dual flash a LED per migliorare i nostri video in condizioni di scarsa illuminazione.

Importanti miglioramenti della SJ5000+, rispetto al suo predecessore SJ4000, sono dati dal chip Ambarella A7LS75.
Ancora una volta, dobbiamo sottolineare la maggiore qualità video a 30-60 fps durante la registrazione a 1080p, con una autonomia di registrazione di 60 minuti in Full HD col wifi e
il monitor disattivati. Forse, una delle caratteristiche che mettono in risalto la SJCAM SJ5000 Plus rispetto alle concorrenti pari prezzo (come successo per la SJ4000)
è che la SJ5000+ ha uno schermo LiveView, dando la possibilità di visualizzare le registrazioni fatte e di muoversi attraverso i menu e le impostazioni facilmente, oltre al wifi,
una delle opzioni più apprezzate dagli utenti abituati a vedere le loro registrazioni istantaneamente sul proprio smartphone o fotocamere o direttamente nello schermo della cam.
Inoltre, come la SJ4000, è dotata di molti accessori utili in moltissime occasioni.


Le caratteristiche della SJCAM SJ5000+ (o Plus) sono completate con l’integrazione di uno schermo LCD TFT da 1,5 pollici con una risoluzione di 960 x 240 pixel in cui è possibile
vedere live quello che si sta registrando, e rivedere quello che si è registrato e le foto, uscita HDMI, batteria da 900 mAh facilmente sostituibile, WiFi integrato,
che accompagna gli accessori ormai classici e il case trasparente che permette di immergere la cam in acqua fino ad una profondità di 30 metri, uno slot per schede microSD fino a 32 GB.


Eredita dalla SJ4000 la Modalità drive per iniziare a registrare automaticamente quando si accende l’auto e il sensore di movimento per avviare la registrazione quando qualcosa si
muove nel campo di visione della cam e un obiettivo grandangolare HD a 170º per riprese spettacolari in soggettiva.

E’ presente la modalità time lapse per scattare foto a distanza di alcuni secondi (1, 2, 5, 10, 30 o 60s) per poi montarle assieme e realizzare video spettacolari ad esempio
delle nuvole che scorrono velocemente nel cielo o delle stelle che ruotano. Inoltre esiste la nuova funzione Video Lapse che crea in automatico un video con fotogrammi ripresi a
distanza di alcuni secondi, impostati a piacere; una ottima cosa per creare video time lapse senza dover montare le foto manualmente.
E’ presente inoltre la registrazione ciclica, per registrare continuamente sovrascrivendo i vecchi files, utile ad esempio in auto se utilizzata come dashcam. Nella nuova modalità Burst rate si possono inoltre scattare foto a raffica, scegliendo tra 3,5,10 e 20 foto in un secondo. La funzione Dual Streams, se attivata, permette di registrare 2 video, uno in qualità alta, l’altro in qualità bassa a 10fps che permette di rivedere i file in streaming wifi dal cellulare.

La SJ5000+ è dotata di wifi, che con una apposita app per telefoni e tablet permette di comandare la cam da un dispositivo esterno, iniziando e stoppando la registrazione,
scattando foto, mentre si visualizza in streaming su cellulare o tablet quello che si sta registrando. Inoltre è possibile rivedere live dal proprio smartphone video e foto registrati.
I valori della configurazione del wifi sono in un file nella sd card, quindi il wifi funziona solo con la micro sd inserita. Inoltre per cambiare la configurazione, è necessario editare
il file wifi.conf.txt presente nella micro sd, ad esempio per cambiare SSID o password.
Il range si aggira sui 30-40m a campo aperto. Quando attivo si accende uno dei led frontali, verde, ma può essere disabilitato dal menù.
Sono presenti 3 diverse modalità wifi, modificabili dal file wifi.conf.txt: access point, station mode, wifi direct: solo per esperti!


Un’altra caratteristica che rende la SJ5000+ unica è il gran numero di accessori inclusi, come il supporto per la MTB, la cover subacquea, la clip per il petto, il caricabatteria, il cavo USB, adesivi per attaccarla a caschi o altro, adtatore per treppiede, snodi vari, ecc. Questi sono un grande valore aggiunto ed evitano di dover comprare un sacco di accessori che renderebbero l’acquisto più costoso. Tutto questo senza dimenticare che gli accessori sono tutti compatibili con la GoPro dato che usano lo stesso aggancio, quindi se avete bisogno di ulteriori gadget li troverete abbastanza facilmente, inoltre è possibile utilizzare la SJ5000+
come seconda cam da affiancare alla GoPro.


Sul lato frontale possiamo notare il tasto MODE, che serve ad accendere la cam e a passare tra una modalità e l’altra (registrazione, playback video, playback foto, settings), inoltre se premuto durante la registrazione rende il video non cancellabile, a meno che non si prema di nuovo il tasto. Possiamo vedere inoltre due led orizzontali, quello inferiore si accende se la cam è accesa. Quello superiore verde se è attivo il wifi.
Sul lato destro, il bottone in alto serve ad abilitare/disabilitare il wifi, quelli in basso per scorrere tra i menù e per lo zoom. Sul lato opposto ci sono il connettore HDMI e micro Usb e lo slot per inserire la scheda Micro SD.
In alto il tasto per iniziare a registrazione. Se tenuto premuto durante la registrazione, viene scattata una foto a 2mpx 1920×1080.

La batteria dura 47minuti con lo schermo acceso e il wifi acceso, circa 1h disbilitandoli entrambi.
Il massimo framerate dei file registrati dalla SJ5000+ è 24mbps (in modalità 1080p 60fps) contro i 15mbps della sj4000.
Ciò significa che i file sono più corposi e contengono più informazioni e quindi meno compressi e di migliore qualità. Di contro ovviamente occupano più spazio.
Nel menù c’è la possibilità di scegliere il volume del microfono, da impostare al 100% col case inserito, circa al 60-70% senza case, altrimenti l’audio risulta molto alto.
Nella Sj5000 plus sono presenti due nuove impostazioni ISO oltre ai 100, 200 e 400 della sj4000, ovvero 800 e 1600 ISO per riprese in scarse condizioni di luce.
Se la camera viene spenta per errore durante la registrazione di un video, alla riaccensione il video può essere recuperato con la funzione Movie Recovery, se di dimensioni non troppo piccole.
