According to the manufacturer, the ASUS V7100 Deluxe Combo consists of:

• GPU GeForce2 MX based video card with 32 MBytes SDR SDRAM;
• multistandard TV-tuner on the Philips element base;
• multistandard module of analog video signal processing;
• and sound track.

Apart from working in 2D/3D graphics, it allows to:

• view TV programs with mono sound accompaniment on a display;
• sample, analyze and record video signals to HDD both from an integrated tuner and from external analog video-ins (with stereo sound accompaniment);
• double the contents of the computer display on the analog video-outs for output on a TV or a video projector. Or to extend the desktop at the expense of a device connected to this analog video output.
• View graphics files or TV programs with pseudo stereo effects on the monitor.

The card is equipped with AGP x2/x4 interface. Note some design features of this board:

• A big connector of the tuner's antenna input. It takes some efforts to insert it in the hole on the rear panel of the case.
• A relatively short cable for stereo glasses.
• Quite lengthy cable of TV-in connectors with a sticker allowing to position it right on the desk near the monitor.
• Rather short cable of output connectors (only 15 cm).
• Output connector for taking sound is made competently.
• The card is also supplied with an internal connector for taking sound off what allows directly connect it with a sound card.
